In conjunction with the reinstallation of New Topographics at Eastman House this summer, New Topographics photographers Joe Deal and Frank Gohlke join co-curators Alison Nordström of Eastman House and Britt Salvesen of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art to discuss the re-creation of this landmark 1975 exhibition. Widely recognized as a seminal moment in the history of photography, this time New Topographics is accompanied with extensive interpretive historic material and a catalog published by Steidl. On view at Eastman House through September 27, the exhibition will travel throughout the US until late 2010 then continue on a European tour. A booksigning will follow the panel discussion. Included with Museum admission.
