Mthethwa’s work examines economic and political realities of present-day South Africa.

Acclaimed photographer and South African native Zwelethu Mthethwa who began his career as a painter and photographer during apartheid in South Africa returns to Rochester Institute of Technology. He will discuss the photographic body of work in his newly released monograph Zwelethu Mthethwa.
